Freelance Invoice Hub compares accounting and invoicing software, and AI writing tools, for solo freelancers and small independent businesses. We cover tools like QuickBooks Online, FreshBooks, Wave, Xero, Zoho Invoice, Bonsai, and Square Invoices on the accounting/invoicing side, and Jasper, Grammarly, Copy.ai, Rytr, ChatGPT, and Notion AI on the AI writing side.

We started this site because comparing freelance tools usually means opening a dozen pricing pages, tracking down plan limits buried in FAQ sections, and trying to figure out which "free plan" actually stays free. We do that legwork and lay it out in one place.

How our articles are made

We want to be upfront about what these articles are, and what they are not.

They are not long-term, hands-on product reviews. We have not necessarily used every plan of every tool we write about for months at a time. What we do instead is compile and compare each vendor's own official pricing pages, feature pages, and public documentation, and organize that information into a format that's actually usable when you're trying to make a decision — comparison tables, "which one fits your situation" breakdowns, and FAQs answering the questions people usually get stuck on.

For every article, we check pricing and plan details directly against the vendor's current official site rather than relying on secondhand summaries. Software pricing and plan terms change — sometimes significantly, as we've seen firsthand when a vendor changed its billing model or restricted a plan to certain countries without much notice. When we discover this kind of change, we update the affected articles.

Because pricing can change between the time we check it and the time you read it, we recommend treating our comparisons as a starting point for narrowing down your options — not as the final word. Always confirm current pricing, plan limits, and eligibility (country restrictions, trial terms, etc.) on the vendor's own official site before you subscribe or enter payment details.

Some of our articles touch on topics adjacent to taxes or bookkeeping for the self-employed. These sections are general information only, not tax or accounting advice for your specific situation. Who runs this site

Freelance Invoice Hub is independently operated by a single person, and we don't publish the operator's name. We know that's a fair thing to be cautious about, so here's what we do instead to make sure the information here is still trustworthy.

• We cross-check every price and plan detail against the vendor's official site.We don't copy figures from other comparison sites or outdated forum posts — every number in a comparison table is checked against the pricing page it describes.
• We note when pricing was last checked. Software pricing changes, so articles that discuss specific dollar amounts or plan tiers are periodically reviewed and corrected when a vendor updates its plans. If you spot a price that looks out of date, please let us know via the Contact page and we'll verify and correct it.
• We correct mistakes. When we've found outdated or incorrect information in a published article — for example, after a vendor changed its billing structure or restricted a plan to specific countries — we've gone back and updated the affected articles rather than leaving them as-is.
• We separate opinion from fact. Where an article recommends one tool over another for a specific type of freelancer, that recommendation is clearly framed as our editorial judgment based on published features and pricing — not a claim of exhaustive, independent lab testing.

In short: we're not asking you to trust us because of who we are. We're asking you to judge us by whether the information checks out against the vendor's own site — and we've tried to make that easy to verify.
